Now I am voted in, here are some of my recommended changes in legislation I will be putting forward in the near future:
1. New uniform for army = stubbies, thongs and blue wifebeater.(terry hat optional)
2. Tax and BAS payment in form of a check or transfer not made out to ATO, but simply to 'Swanny'
3. Observe and create national holiday -'National Beer and Smokes Day', on my birthday.
4. Appoint 'Booney' as my second in charge.
5. Create initiave to pipe XXXX to every household in the country.
6. When seen in public treasurer will carry sack of money with dollar signs printed on bag, while continuously throwing money to crowd dressed as 'Hamburglar' (MrDanMac)
7. Rename Queensland, Van Swannysland.
8. All financial transactions are to be made with cash carried in brown paper bags. (youtube.com/imogapils)

I miss Keating, he made parliament interesting and he had a way of abusing people but unlike Barry Humphries did not need to dress like a woman.

They are boring at the moment aren't they - plus the PC I use to mix my vids gave me the blue screen of death last month so I'm on the bench myself for a few more weeks - should be back on board for the new political season in early February!
