gREAT VIDS KEEP PASSING THE MESSAGE. 2012

Thank you for making these videos. People are so ignorant about the reality of socialized medicine. It is such a huge failure here in Canada. The man in that video was only one of thousands of people who are waiting for care.

I lost my grandfather due to the system. Nothing can bring him back.

I really hope this will wake people up.

Thanks for the video. I've lived the Canadian brain tumour nightmare. From the time I first went to my doctor with symptoms until the day of my craniotomy, one and a half years elapsed due to waiting for scans and specialists. After surgery, there was another year and a half wait to see a neuro-psych for an evaluation and, again, that long of a wait to see a pain specialist.

When my first MRI (that I paid for privately due to the wait) came back suspecting a brain tumour, my neurologist was too busy to answer my questions (even though I offered to fax them) and his office suggested I look my questions up on the Internet.

One day in hospital, an elderly gentlemen approached MRI reception to say he had to cancel his MRI appointment due to a death in his famiily. The clerk told him he'd have ANOTHER NINE-MONTH WAIT to reschedule. The man said he already stressed waiting nine months for his MRI. "Sorry", said the receptionist.

I hope whatever he had was slow growing.

I agree that there are severe problems in the way resources are allocated within the health care system of Canadian Provinces, but the Socialist model is not the sole problem. One need look no further than the W Administration for the problems inherent to Oligopolism (falsely styled as Capitalism).

The solution is the same North and South of the 49th parallel, that the electorate demand that all candidates regardless of party be capable leaders, once capable leaders are elected then the analysis of whether public vs private health care is best, will have true meaning.

I saw all the film's, and as a Canadian I saw no error. It is sad to see men like Health Minister George Smitherman and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty ban private MRI's in Ontario for humans. My Dog can get prompt a CAT scan, but me? No, no I have to wait in line at a government MRI. Marxism is alive and well in Ontario.
