About Me:
In August, Kyal left the band, and Jack suggested his schoolfriend Adam as a bass player. The band changed their name to Death Boredom Etc and recorded some more demos. After the computer on which their demos were stored on crashed, the band went on hiatus to try and figure out another musical direction. They changed their name once again in early 09 to Stereolithic and are currently writing material for upcoming EPs. The current line up is:
Adam - Bass
Patrick - Drums
Charnont - Guitar
Jack - Guitar / Vocals
The band draw influence from a diverse range of bands, such as AC/DC, Metallica, Dream Theater, Black Sabbath, Incubus and Pink Floyd. They are also influenced by many contempary Australian rock bands, such as Karnivool, Mammal, Cog, The Butterfly Effect, Sydonia, .hinge, Rook, Grinspoon, Behind Crimson Eyes, Gyroscope, Wolfmother, Powderfinger etc.
