I do that RAW underground sample based Hip Hop! The essence of Hip Hop was birthed from the turntable. Therefore, I strive to keep the ethics of that medium at the forefront of my music. I sample all my sounds. NO BREAKBEAT RECORDS, NO SOUND LIBRARIES. I dig for all sounds including drums. No biting allowed! I have my own beatmaking morals and don't expect everyone to follow them. I don't "hate on" other genres of Hip Hop music as long as the beatmaker/producer has skills. Just because you got Pro Tools and a Korg doesn't mean your dope kids!
