Work-in-progress for a feature documentary about the harrowing journeys and lives of Black Muslim refugees who fled from genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan and have made the hazardous journey to Israel crossing by foot the Sinai desert, guided by Bedouins—in search of safe haven in the only non-Muslim and democratic country of the region: Israel.

To date, over 400,000 Darfurians have been killed and 2.5 million Black African mostly Muslim tribal farmers have been displaced.

Darfurians who survive the destruction of their villages and the murder of their family and friends in Sudan make their way to UN displacement camps in neighboring Chad, or go north into Egypt seeking safety. Despite being Muslims like the Egyptians, there they find discrimination and lack of Human Rights.
