There are spoilers for pretty much every HP book/movie in this video.

For this video, I used clips from all HP movies and the movie "The NeverEnding Story". It's not so much a cross-over between TNS and HP; Bastian and his reactions and experiences are supposed to represent the average HP readers/fans.

I tried to include parts from every book, but near the end I had to condense a lot; I basically only use Voldemort's return for GoF and the death of Dumbledore from HBP. I was focusing more on the magic and experience of reading the story on the whole; you'll notice there's a lack of any real romantic pairings and Snape doesn't figure a lot, mainly because of time and all I wanted to include and what went well with the lyrics. The books are shown in order, except for the death scenes, which I grouped together. So Bastian doesn't really read about the DH deaths before reading OotP, I just wanted to show all the deaths together.

The song is "Almost Unreal" by Roxette.

It's a tribute to the amazing story of HP, and is dedicated to J.K. Rowling (though I doubt she'll ever see it).

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the funky border around certain scenes is supposed to add to the sense that Bastian is reading a book.
