About Me:

Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Sleaze had a troubled youth. Plagued with disaster, at a young age he knew of tragedy and heartbreak. His mother died when he was at the tender age of 8. This pain would prove trying to the young man. Once dedicated to success, he began to linger in a cloud of self-hate. Early on however, he showed an interest in music manifested in dancing and dj'ing. His older brother being a dj at the time gave him the oppurtunity to listen to amazing rap records and even try his hand at scratching and mixing. After a run in with the law, he moved to Chesterfield County at 13 and began writing small poems to himself to pass the time. Couped up in his father's home, he watched a lot of MTV and BET and decided that he could do all the things the artists he loved were doing. While a student at James River High School, he began writing rhymes and sharing them with close friends. This first taste of recognition has fueled his drive and determination for many years. As a student at Virginia Commonwealth University, he became friends with other like-minded artists who all praised his raw delivery and humble attitude. He performed in a few open mics and worked to better his flow. Sleaze released two mixtapes(Go Hard or Go Home, The Memorial) under the now defunct Livewire Entertainment to little success. At that point, he decided to step back from the scene to hone his craft and create a better product for potential fans. Four years later he is now back, feeling stronger than ever and boasting a style that is free of gimmicks. He relies on his own production and wordplay to get his message across. He stresses that it's ok to be ordinary in an extravagant world. His outlook on life is one that inspires his friends and family. His name is Sleaze, but he is anything but sleazy.

Too true. That obviously sounded racist, it wasn't intentional. I am just sick to the back teeth of people degrading white people and getting away with it. It happens all the time in Scotland with Muslims dictating how the country is run. No Christmas decorations because it may offend "them. That annoys me.
