I record using S-video. I use a Dazzle Plus, to capture video games through my computer. I also use a Video Distribution Amplifier.
S-video out of the tv, xbox, and dazzle, into the VDA. Then the dazzle into the laptop. That is my setup. "Dazzle video creator plus."

**PS2,PS1 and Dreamcast captures are done using composite video, so they will be slightly worse in quality than my xbox 360 captures.**
