I want to empower people by information and use the capabilities of YouTube to bring people together.
About Me:
In my professional life, I work as a video producer within a middle sized, international company. My political background is all in my unpaid free time. For some five years, I have been active within Attac, an altermondalist movement. During 2007 and 2008, my focus was on working against the Lisbon Treaty, first in my own country, Austria, where I wrote and spoke about it, and debated it with promoters of the treaty, including Austrian members of parliament. In 2008, I went to Ireland for two weeks to support the NO Campaign of the Campaign Against the EU Constitution (which is a coalition of individuals and groups against the treaty). Besides the treaty and it's numerous aspects, I was also active on other subjects, such as tax avoidance (I was invited to debate the subject after the Zumwinkel whistleblower scandal in Germany with Sahra Wagenknecht of DIE LINKE and Wolf Klinz of the FDP in a small TV studio in the European Parliament), financial markets (I written about and discussed the financial crisis on a couple of occasions this year), migration, or public services.

I pointed this fact out to a person who called to my home asking for a yes vote.
He said: "That's what we are working towards"
I asked: "Do you think I'm crazy or stupid? I asked if he thought it was right that I decide what was good for another person?
He said: "No."
So I said: "But you think it is right that we here in Ireland hand over all decision making to someone else and let them let us and the rest of the EU what is good for us?"
He had no come back.
I think those who are going to vote yes really need to take that into consideration.
but as well as that, we're voting away our own rights! i can't understand how we even got to this.
27 'democratic' member states, and Irelnd is the only country that gets to vote.
I am actively campaigning for a no vote in Ireland.
We think we can get a no vote but we need help.
The future of ½ billion people in the EU rests in the Irish peoples hands. That's a lot of pressure on a small country. Pleasae consider you and your friends coming to Ireland to help us out.
Could you give me the website addresses of European anti Lisbon groups?
We can defeat this but we need help. Thank you.
