July 2008 Steve Smyth (Nevermore, Testament), Doug Doppler (Guitar Hero), and Adrian Galysh will be taking Shredstock on the road across California. To add some local flavor to the tour, Steve, Doug and Adrian have launched the YouShred at Shredstock Viral Video Contest. Three winners for each city on the California tour will have a chance to play a solo or a song to open the night. He or she with the most plays wins, so get your friends and family to catapult you to a moment in lights!

***OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS***

1) Select the Groups link at the top of this page.
2) On the Goups page select the group for the show you'd like to open (sorry all shows except the Heartline Guitars clinic/show in Dublin are 21 and over and applies to all contestants as well).
3) Upload a video to that group. ALL videos HAVE to be uploaded after July 1, 2008. You can use a video the has already been posted, but you MUST re-upload it to qualify for the contest.
4) Send the link out to your friends and family
5) The 3 players with the most hits for each show get to play a solo or the song of their choice!
