TO MY MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS, you are disillusioned with Islam. I once was aswell. The mechanistic ritual of praying five times per day, reciting verses they do not understand and indeed mean nothing, getting up at taxing hours of the morning and abstaining from food and water until the sunset are not means to becoming more spiritual but are instruments to control the mind. Muslims no more heed to the fear mongering verses of the Quran that threaten to burn them and roast them in the fires of hell if they dare to think and question the validity of that book. WHY DO DO THESE RITUIALS? ITS OBVIOUSLY NOT OF YOUR LOVE OF ALLAH BUT OF FEAR OF BURNING IN FIRE. GOD DOSENT WANT TO BE WORSHIPPED BY YOU FEARING HIM. GOD WANTS YOU TO WORSHIP HIM BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM, GOD IS LOVE, FEAR GOD BUT NOT IN THE SENSE THAT YOU DONT WANT TO "BURN" IN HELL. GOD LOVES YOU ALL THAT IS WHY JESUS WAS SACRIFICED IN YOUR PLACE, YOU PUT JESUS ON THAT CROSS ASWELL AS I DID BY OUR OWN ACTIONS AND SINS.
