See, I don't think there should be a movie, per se. But rather an extended series - kind of like Band of Brothers. A new director each episode would be a good way to not only test the response waters, but also find who the fans are generally most comfortable with as a shared visionary. Just jumping in and making a movie leaves WAY too many windows and questions open - among them, what book or trilogy to base the film on? Where/how to film it, if it should have an Underdark scene. How would they handle infravision? The screenplay I wrote for Homeland got around it a bit, but the fairie fire helped. Another HUGE hurdle is who plays Drizzt. That age-old conversation I am sick of, believe me, but it matters, I'm sure to millions of people. I could care less just as long as it's a reasonable choice - saying Wesley Snipes is just irresponsible...I'd rather see Jack Black do it than Wesley Snipes. Anyway...yeah, do a series, not a movie.

Be extremely careful if you make this movie. If you screw this up and don't live up to peoples expectations (which are very high because of how good the books are) you will screw up peoples views of Drizzt, and they wont even want to read the books anymore. A good example of this is the Eragon movie, which was terrible. They skipped small details which become important and omit some important stuff entirely. And make sure you get character details right. People get really worked up when hair or eye color is wrong, which i would say makes you need to change Wulfgar as hes too small and not muscular enough for the role. Good luck and i hope to see a fantastic movie.

Alexha told me about the clip and I thought it was a lot of fun to watch. If you need some warm bodies, I've got some friends in the area that would help. Keep up the good work!
