I take it since this post is now 2 years old you already found the problem. my guess was going to be final drive gears.

Confusing a chopper with a cruiser. Choppers have a nice Long front end along with a fat rear end on it. This is a Boulevard M50 not an M800. Its either gunna be an m50 or a marauder not an m800. Model designator is VZ800 for those that dont know.

I got mine on a dyno- while attending school- numbers arent accurate as far as torque and hp goes- because of a slipping clutch (i ride my bike hard). But I got it up to 122 mph per the dyno. Mine is a 2007 m50 limited.

It would need to be tested- but generally getting a new helmet is the prefered method. And actually if u drop ur helmet from 3 feet technically ur supposed to replace it.

Gotta have a baseline for the tests. Cant use 1 bike with abs and then use a totally different bike without abs--for instance cant use a BMW R 1200 GS and then compare it to a Suzuki DRZ 400-2 completely different bikes. That is why they are using the same bike.
