Q: What do you use to make your videos?
A: Windows Movie Maker. I don't have a fancy editing program that will allow me to cut, zoom, and have special (seizure-inducing) effects like some vidders.

Q: What is your vidding philosophy?
A: Be straightforward and simple. No need for overexposure and soft glow filters everywhere on a video. It makes it so unwatchable. No use for long explanations or summaries of a video because the storytelling in the video should speak for itself. No overlap of other movies with the same actors; the actors do not equal the characters unless it is an actor shipping or actor tribute video. No need to show off any youtube "honors." Those really don't mean anything.

Q: What's your vidding style?
A: Movie audio is integrated in the beginning as well as throughout the non-lyrical parts of the video; lots of chronological ordering of the overall clips; consistent pacing of clips and transitions with melody; self-explanatory story lines through character/ship related song choices; manipulating scenes, but I think my videos speak for themselves even with the limitations of Windows Movie Maker.

Q: Where do you get your movie clips?
A: I rip them from my DVDs. Go to my website for more information about music vidding.

Q: How to spot clip theft?
A: When many parts of a video are edited in an apparently different way it differs in dimension, quality, and source, then that person most likely uses clips from other people's music videos. Authentic music videos do not have these problems, the transitions are smooth and the quality and size of the clips are all the same.

Q: What can we do?
A: YouTube.com has grown rampage with vidding newbies who don't know about clip theft. If you spot clip theft, notify them right away and notify the person in which they took the clips from (if you recognize the original video).

Q: Will you tell me how to make effects?
A: Sorry, everyone progresses in vidding their own way, so getting a lot of help is basically like copying that person's style. You should visit my Vidding Peeves and Vidding Tips pages on my website. Those pages provide the only advice I can give you.
