Earth Song Lyrics
What about sunrise What about rain What about all the things That you said we were to gain What about killing fields Is there a time What about all the things That you said was yours and mine... Did you ever stop to notice All the blood we've shed before Did you ever stop to notice This crying Earth this weeping shore?
Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh
What have we done to the world Look what we've done What about all the peace That you pledge your only son... What about flowering fields Is there a time What about all the dreams That you said was yours and mine... Did you ever stop to notice All the children dead from war Did you ever stop to notice This crying Earth this weeping shore
Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh
I used to dream I used to glance beyond the stars Now I don't know where we are Although I know we've drifted far
Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh
Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh Aaaaaaaah Oooooooh

What about the holy land (what about it) Torn apart by creed (what about us) What about the common man (what about us) Can't we set him free (what about us) What about children dying (what about us) Can't you hear them cry (what about us) Where did we go wrong (ooh ooh) Someone tell me why (what about us)
What about babies born (what about it) What about the days (what about us) What about all their joy (what about us) What about the man (what about us) What about the crying man (what about us) What about Abraham (what about us) What about death again (ooh ooh) Do we give a damn

I hope this doesn't blow my mortgage application, but here goes -- "Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Bankers" by Jan Lewis to the tune of "Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys" - by the Remington Riders. As featured on Willie Nelson's website (link below).
Lyrics written and sung by Jan Lewis
Jan Lewis: vocal, piano Robert Berry: engineering, instruments Erik Adelfred: video
Lyrics:
Chorus: Mams, don't let your babies grow up to be bankers Don't let 'em pick pockets to make the big bucks Let 'em be cowboys, musicians, and such. Mams, don't let your babies grow up to be bankers Cause they'll make you a loan And then steal your home And everyone hates 'em so much.
Verse: Money ain't easy to get and it's harder to hold I keep my cash in the mattress just like it was gold Bailout and bonuses, credit default swaps, the crooks always find a new way, If you don't understand that, you'll lose all your money, And the bankers get richer each day.
They love to defraud, They're just crooked, oh Lord, And everyone hates 'em so much.
If you're from Goldman Sachs, I bet ya cheat on your tax, And the bankers get richer each day.
They'll steal you blind, Time after time, And the bankers get richer each day.

Discover why experts agree the Fed is a banking cartel that benefits mainly bankers, their clients in need of easy money and a Congress that would rather increase the National Debt than raise taxes.
Produced by William L. Van Alen, Jr., the 1-hour documentary is a co-production between Matrixx Productions and Cornerstone Entertainment and features interviews by, not only G. Edward Griffin, but Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas); MOVIEGUIDE Founder, Ted Baehr; and constitutional attorney, Edwin Vieira (4 degrees from Harvard). These are some songs that I wrote and performed. I'm still working to try to improve the mix and I hope someday I can record them with a good producer/mixer. I want to redo all the videos too. If I just had more time ;-) Oh yea - "Monster" is from Steppenwolf and "The Eyes of a Child" is from The Moody Blues. I just put the videos together.
I'm from the the East Side of the U.S. born and raised in Massachusetts. But, I'm planning on taking a trip as far East as i can go soon, across the big the lake and maybe back. I can't stand it here, so many "Sheep-le" trying to live the "American Dream" and waking them up from it is like talking to a wall. I guess all walls fall eventually though. I'm sure you can relate to that, living in Germany and all, haha. Anyways, I'm really digging the sound and the message you're puttin out, keep it up.
Peace, Love, and Light
