An awesome new Wii homebrew application called RawkSD came out recently that allows you to import Rock Band 1 and custom songs into Rock Band 2 by utilizing and slightly modifying the feature of being able to play songs from your SD card.
This application perfectly imports the Rock Band 1 songs except for a few very minor problems, such as the white bar at the beginning and the singer's mouth not singing with the words correctly.

Here is a video showcasing the main feature added from the new updated system menu.

You can now put any Virtual Console/WiiWare/Wii Channel downladed from the Wii Shop Channel on your SD card and run it from there using the new SD Card Menu. They have also finally added SDHC card support which allows you to use cards with as much space as 32 gigs.

All that it does to allow you to use a channel is copy it temporarily onto your Wii's memory. Unfortunately you still have to have saves in your Wii's memory, but that is a small problem anyway.

Anyway, here is a pretty good run of a hard song. I have done better but this is one of my better runs. I love Rock Band 2 on Wii compared to the shit PS2 port Rock Band 1 for Wii. It is pretty much the same as the other versions of the game. Even the DLC is flawless, and it has better sound quality than GH: World Tour for Wii did.
