Surprised no one had done a fucking short version of this one yet considering its cult status!

Thanks for posting great old movie clips. It's wonderful to see a classic movie revival on YouTube.

I couldn't agree with you more- "A Night at the Opera" is very funny, but Thalberg really clipped the Marxes' wings by trying to make them "likable"..despite the fact that Groucho himself often said it was his favorite of their pictures.

Well, if the worst does indeed come to the worst, you've still accomplished the bringing of the Marx Bros. to Youtube, and only their best, at that! "Night at the Opera", classic as it is, is (thanks to Thalberg and Goldwyn) a step down from the Big 5, and the later films degenerate from there. So if you have to stop here, at least you're quitting while you're ahead, which is more than Groucho and co. could manage (damn those contractual obligations!).

I'll see about adding those three, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to abandon the project and just leave the five Paramount movies. Those of you who want to see the MGM films, I reccomend you do what I did and buy them on DVD.

I guess if you wanted to continue to upload Marx Bros. movies, the thing to do would be to check whether the video rights to the rest of them are held by WB. If WB has "Opera", it's logical to assume they must own the rest of the MGM films, but what about "Room Service", "Casablanca", and "Love Happy"?

On the bright side, this does at least spare innocent eyes and ears from absorbing the paint-peeling horror of "Tenement Symphony"!

Then I hope they remove not all of the movies.
