SHISEIDO RED started life as a rock band but brothers Paul & Hoff felt that their true sound was at its best acoustically. allowing them to exhibit their close harmonies & rhythmic & melodic style.
Singer/pianist, Paul's lyrics are exquisitely emotive, with singer/guitarist Hoff's writing touchingly reflecting on social issues.
SHISEIDO RED can be experienced regularly in and around Brighton, venues including; Concorde 2, Komedia The Joogleberry Playhouse, The Hanbury Ballroom and The Cella, and around the London scene at, The Borderline, The Troubadour, The Sound Bar and The Stage Door.
This summer as well as supporting 'Texas'up at Arundel Castle at The Arundel Festival in front of a crowd of over 5,000, the guys also played the Amnesty International Festival where they had a great reception, and have been interviewed and given airplay on several radio stations.
Currently working on their first acoustic album; Shiseido Red were described as "One of the best bands presently emerging from the Brighton scene" (Phillip Jackson, BBC's Bright'n Live)
