Three years after J Dilla's death, DC is still rightfully paying homage to the accomplished producer and MC who brought us everything from Pharcyde's "Runnin'?" to Janet Jackson's "Got 'Til It's Gone" and Common's "The Light." SEIU co-sponsored the 4th Annual J Dilla Tribute & Fundraiser show at Liv Niteclub in Washington, DC on June 8, 2009. Watch highlights from the event, which include appearances from Phife Dawg from Tribe Called Quest, Grap Luva and special guest Dilla's mother "Ma Dukes" Yancey.

"increasing the quality of care while decreasing costs and eliminating waste..."
This is one of Obama the traitor's talking points. Translated out of double speak it means murdering the frail elderly and REDUCING care. To eliminate waste, we would eliminate the "insurance" companies capacity to micromanipulate care and medical outcomes. Insurance companies should be eliminated entirely as a healthcare industry. Get all those brokers and salesmen training in holistic medicine. More healthcare providers, meaning more doctors, more nurses, more healthcare techs = higher supply of healthcare service, thus demand is spread out thereby REDUCING COST.
Where, in the plan Obama is pushing, is there any drive to make more doctors? In reality funding for education is being slashed.
"Every man, woman and child in America must be guaranteed access to quality affordable coverage that will cover what they need to keep them healthy, provide adequate coverage for when they need it, and protect them from skyrocketing costs."
Regarding "keeping them healthy" from above:
Keeping people healthy, (i.e. preventative medicine), is NOT practiced by ANY present government bureaucracy, industry, hospital nor insurance company. Nor are there ANY plans to introduce to the U.S. health care system a preventative medical apparatus that will deliver such. What makes such disease prevention reality is access to clean water, clean food, fitness activities, working safely, especially considering chemical and heavy metal exposure.
Possibly the SEIU is worth saving. Operating as part of a Union can be greatly empowering, IF, and it's a big if, IF the leadership is motivated by a sense of unity with those unified. Obviously that is NOT the situation in the SEIU. Obviously the SEIU leadership is power and monetarily motivated and for such they're kowtowing the line of the financial dominant as it has been passed to them by Obama. These people, the SEIU leadership would be lucky to survive the next decade.
1/3rd of sharks are endangered, same is true of 1/3 of amphibians and 1/4 of mammals! With the massive extinction that is under way, by industrial pollution primarily WHY would you union leaders think you're exempt? As soon as your utility to the present "order" is expired, you'll be next on the chopping block.
It's never too late to decide to live well. You have much to adjust so you better start now.
