The president who was supposed to bring us change we could believe in is looking more and more every day like the war criminal he replaced. The illegal occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan continue with no end in site, the Bush administration and all their assorted accomplices still walk free, the torture continues, Barack Obama has picked up right where George W. Bush left off with the illegal signing statements, and our Congress is still full of cowards who can't summon up the spine to do anything about it.

They would act if they truly felt like their cushy existence in Washington was threatened, but it will take a LOT MORE people contacting them relentlessly to demand action, and that they honor the peoples' will, as opposed to the will of the special interests that fill their campaign coffers.

From Darkness there was Light
Archeologists believe that Neanderthals knew how to make fire; and together with Cromagnon skills, "fire making" & "shelter building" formed a foundation for the future of human civilization. Although we cannot be sure exactly which technique created the first "man-made" fire, we still have evidence of a variety of primitive tools & methods. Wood-Friction or Flint-Spark are 2 common ways to make fire when combined with dried combustibles: wood, bark, moss, leaves, hay, etc...

John Conyers is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. It's his job to initiate and oversee the process of impeachment in the House of Representatives. He wrote a book called "Constitution in Crisis," which came out two years ago and details the impeachable offenses of the Bush administration.

He is now incredibly refusing to move ahead with impeachment of the most impeachable administration the United States has ever seen. He says it would be detrimental to Democrats and the party's chances of winning the White House.

John Conyers is lying. He knows better.

Exactly one year ago, Dennis Kucinich introduced Articles of Impeachment against Cheney. They have been sitting in the Judiciary Committee collecting dust ever since.

Contact John Conyers. Tell him to honor his oath to the Constitution and do the job the people expect of him.
