About Me: Hi Born in Canada on April 29th. 1939. Born of both English father and Canadain mother.I am one of 13, but one of ll that survived. Lived in Canada until I was 19 years of age, then moved to England. Worked in the City of London, living in Dalston/Hackney area. Houses then, did not have indoor toilets or bath tubs. When living in Aylesbury, our bath tub was in a little shed, it was very cold in there during the winter. Gradually, house began changing a bedroom for a indoor bathroom. House being built in the 60's had there bathroom built inside. My in laws still had the toilet back of the yard and for a bath, we had a tin bath which you bathed in the kitchen. This was in the late 60's and early 1970's. Work well in England I started off as a Export Shipping Clerk,wages 44hours = £7.00 per week,I did some farm for about 2 or 3 months. But after a few years, I spent 28yrs as a Postman before I retired.
