Recorded December 2006 at TV New Zealand studios. The North Harbour Swing Band directed by international trombonist Ross Hurley, consists of mainly amateur and student musicians. Since being appointed as musical director the standard of the band has lifted to great expectations, these recordings being the highlight of 2006. The band is a pleasure to work with and are keen to expand the repertoire and work on the finer points of making beautiful music. We rehearse every Sunday morning and perform on the last Sunday every month at the East Coast Bays RSA Auckland New Zealand. More information can be found on www.brassplus.co.nr
