About Me: RON IRIZARRY is an award-winning, multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer from Carlisle Pennsylvania whose seasoned experience of extensive touring and recording projects has garnered worldwide acclaim.

He began his career professionally in 1996 and has graced stages across the world including Madison Square Garden, The Staples Center, and The Rose Bowl. Ron has toured the United States and Canada several times over and has opened and toured alongside many prominent artists that have expressed their admiration of his music, including Justin Timberlake, Pink, & Mandy Moore. Over the years Ron has had the opportunity to warm up crowds for multiple artists in their respective genres including B.B. King, Jimmy Eat World, Switchfoot, Sister Hazel, Erykah Badu, Hanson, Blue October, BT, Thomas Dolby, DJ Tiesto, Nas, J. Holiday, and Hellogoodbye to name a few.

Along with his success of performance, Ron has won praise for his songwriting and production skills from top producers in the industry including Ryan Tedder (One Republic, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez, Timbaland, Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Cornell, Paul Oakenfold), David Siegel (Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Pink, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony), and John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Jason Mraz). Rons body of work includes music production for Ashley Clark who along with his band The Clark Brothers recently won the American Idol produced reality series The Next Great American Band on the FOX Network.

With the release of his new record, What You Hide Is What You Find, Ron has effectively created a propulsive blend of hook laden pop tunes that enter your head and refuse to leave. I went to the songwriters school of The Beatles. You really cant deny structure and power of melodies that have withstood the test of time. Rons life-long goal is to create universally recognized songs that are both distinguished and compelling, while making his contribution to popular music. Ive written with so many other writers that really try and make it a science, and I always think to myself, Its just music, if you make it hard for yourself you just might miss the magic. Nature happens on its own and I want to be an open channel to capture that unconstrained timeless creative nature.

The Albany Times Union has described his music as harkening back to the Beatles pop sound and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution labeled him a pop-powered guitarist, keen praises that depict the artistic and poignant musician.
