Sandra Sparks worked for the Georgia Renaissance Festival from 1989 until 2002 and was best known as Lyrica Broadsides, the village composer. She performed solo, and in two duos, Greenway Sparks, and the other the first An Drasda, with singer Susan Hickey. The Virtual Session has been closed because of a conflict of names; the Celtic music is now on The Video Pub Session. World music is available on Speruoc (Say: Sparrowhark) Check it all out!

Welcome to the Virtual Session for Renaissance Music! A similar Virtual Session is available at the youtube channel Speruoc, but concentrates more on different types of Celtic and World folk music: this channel is specifically for music either from Renaissance Festival musicians or the groups that directly influence what music Renaissance Festival musicians do, such as Steeleye Span, Lorena McKennit, and Mediaeval Baebes.

I am looking for the best videos I can find, so if you don't see the videos of a favorite group here, and they are available on youtube, there are two reasons: either the videos are not of a good quality, or I haven't found them yet! Let me know who you are looking for.

There will also be a separate playlist for non-music Renfest acts, so any suggestions for acts to include in this list will be helpful.
