Atheism is inspired by one thing most of all, honesty with yourself. If you look at ALL of the evidence and make an honest decision without clouding your judgment with fear, guilt, love, duty or anything else, you will come to one logical conclusion. There are no gods. Even if there were, they have made no contact with humans or even claimed to exist at all. The only evidence there is, supports the conclusion that gods are fictitious and no more likely to exist than elves, fairies, gnomes, trolls, ogres, goblins, sprites or pixies.

	NothingBut666 (1 week ago) Say there is a man asking people to donate to charity. The first person he asks donates without hesitation or persuation. The second doesn't, and in order to persuade him, the man offers him an all-expensed paid trip to paradise. The person then accepts. The third person doesn't accept the trip, so the man threatens to send him to a place to get tortured and suffer. Now faced with the prospect of going to paradise and avoiding anguish, the person donates. Which one of those three are really moral? Is it the guy whom donated out of the goodness of his own heart? Or is the two people whom were promised paradise and salvation from a place of eternal suffereing? Moralit does not take a gift from god. Like Santa Claus himself once said, 'be good for goodness sake'.
	shieldsff (2 weeks ago) If humans have no eternal souls (from God), and conscience and morality are simply products of our minds (induced by chemical reactions)- than you cannot possibly believe there is an objective right or wrong (i.e., absolute TRUTH) about anything. If that is the case, why ought anyone to accept your completely arbitrary opinions on consequential matters like human morality and what happens after we all die ? Are UR statements not just questionable 'beliefs' of your possibly chemically imbalanced mind ? Christians have the 'conviction' that reason, truth, conscience & morality originate empirically with GOD; not our own possibly misguided, deluded minds.
