As New Orleans rebuilds itself, we hope to present some of the changes taking place to the city.
Our first project titled "New Orleans Public Charter Schools" take a look at what's working in school reform. The 7-minute shorts includes interviews with students, teachers and school leaders. The improvements are amazing as evidenced by the test results and student's attitudes. The school reform efforts in New Orleans are somewhat revolutionary. It's safe to now assume that New Orleans will be a much different city in 10 years.

i really appreciate the simple strength of your video. i will suggest one improvement to you if you want to do a little change that i think will improve the impact even more. When your full-screen facts go back to picture, allow them to fade out longer so that the viewer has longer to absorb the facts while you still keep the pace of your edit. A two second longer decay would improve both the comprehension and retention of the facts you present. It does not have to be intensely present, but does need to be readable. Thank you for doing and showing this video. For someone like me who has worked in film in NO pre-Katrina, but has not been back to NO since Katrina, it has great impact. I look forward to more from you. --Jerry Grandey
