thanks for the info on the fischerkoesen cartoons. i wanted to upload his other two big ones, the snowman and silly goose, but they're too long for youtube. they're amazing. any stuff you'd recommend?

Hello... thank you VERY much for your nice comment. I will be adding many, many more recordings. I am using Audacity to record onto the computer, but their sound removal is a bit lousy, or, maybe it's just because I don't know how to use any of it! I'll check out the trial program, and see what it's like... Glad you enjoy the videos. I will take closer photos of the labels in the future...

I've been totally hooked on Greta Keller's version of "Auf Wiedersehen, My Dear" on You Tube and saw your comment re her rendition of the song. I heard ithe song for the first time on the "I Love Lucy Show" when I was a kid. Ricky played it on the piano. I loved for years but couldn't quite remember the tune and it wasn't until a ga-zillion years later that I had the opportunity to find it on the internet. Because of you, I also found about five other artists' versions.
Also, I was a teenager during the 50s and it was a fun challenge to spell "fink" as many ways as possible. You know, phinque, phink, finque, etc.
