I'm a member of FPN and heard about this pen a bit ago. What is the song in this video?

I see no evidence of her being a skilled pianist here. Competent, sure - but not great.

Boz Scaggs...for a genre, it doesn't fit neatly into any one (but then again, what does). Closest I'd put it is Soul with strong Lounge and late-'70s pop influences.

Wonderful song, and wonderful artist. His work around this time is my favorite from his repertoire.

However, one small correction - on the beginning scale, you need to either more consistently legato. It sounded like a few of the notes "blurred" together.

My high school marching band played this as one of our Time-Out Tunes...#7 and #8 if I remember correctly. Different parts for the same song, you see.

Excellent work - it really does sound like the '70s Eagles. I play jazz and symphonic clarinet, and I sincerely wish we had more percussionists that sound like you.

I absolutely love The Eagles, and have since I was young. The entire album Long Road Out of Eden is wonderful. This and Frail Grasp on the Big Picture are my favorites out of it, easily. Overall, though, I'd say my favorite song of theirs is New York Minute.

She did well with the English. I don't personally like her voice, it's too slurry - everything sounds like it's run together. That might just be how she learned to sing, though.

I like it, but I agree. It's not really classical; it's more of a upbeat trance version than anything else. It's still good.

Awesome. Head-banging + cello + The Final Countdown is just simply great. I like how they all ended up destroying a bow, though...pretty funny, IMO. And yes, I know it's not uncommon to ruin a bow after a vigorous concert.

Excellent guitar work. I think the second vocalist was better, because she could sing more clearly. It might've just been the mic, though - but it did seem like the first vocalist yelled to get the super-high tones.

I disagree with you on his singing - it's amazing. Of course it's not as good as people who've been performing for 20+ years, but it's remarkable for 7 years and of course with stage fright. He did lean on his sob story a bit too much, but then his singing is good enough to make up for it.

the clarinets tended to rush the two eighth notes in the their opening lick. it's a problem for us (Springfield High School, Springfield, Oregon) as well - we're playing this at State competition in May. suggest playing it like so:

quarter-eighth*-eighth-eighth

*staccato
