For US daytime soaps it's actually pretty rare. most countries are only 5 years behind US broadcasts at most.
Prime time is another matter, a UK channel is still showing Dynasty for example.

Deidre and Andrea Hall are mirror twins. Which is even more rare apparently. Andrea is left handed, Deidre right. Their hair grows in opposite directions. Deidre looks like Andrea when you look at her through a reflection and vice versa. Maybe more so in their younger Days.
