Activist, documentary filmmaker & composer, I belive that we need to use our
creativity to build a better and more peaceful world.
Democracy requires an informed public that is engaged in the political system and actively contributing to the debates that will ultimately allow us to resolve our differences with out violence.
Art is and always has been a form of social comment- either consciously or unconsciously we express the struggles, the passions, the problems, the resolutions of the issues of our times through it. Totalarianism requires deactivation of the public- fearful of making the wrong decisions they abdicate this responsibility of citizenship to others.
Typically the nation of frightened followers
are victums of the false confidence of being protected by the sheep dog who is usually a wolf leading them to their demise for the wolf packs gain.
