I am a pianist and teacher. I have many students who come to study with me. From time to time I record on video some of the pieces they play at the lesson.

I do this primarily so that my students can see and hear themselves playing from another angle. It´s a great way to learn about mistakes. Something like a THIRD EAR !!!

You can´t expect their playing to be perfect every time. The piano is an instrument one learns to master each day, step by step. And each day one becomes more confident and can see their improvement.

My students love the idea of making these little films because they are now able to see and judge their playing, learning from their mistakes.
