I mainly film anything to do with railways, a large percentage of my interest is with steam.

I am a member of the WSRA and a member of 5029 Nunney Castle's Support Group.
I'm also a follower of the Southern Railway.
850 Lord Nelson being my all time favourite engine.

I hope you enjoy my work!

The background picture taken by myself. It's the footplate of 5029 Nunney Castle, of which I'm support group for. That's my coat hanging on the left!

JUST A WARNING. IF ANY OF MY VIDEOS ARE REPLICATED ON ANOTHER YOUTUBE ACCOUNT, IT IS A INFRINGMENT OF MY COPYRIGHT AND ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. [DATED: DECEMBER 2006]

Hi Phil!

I'm back from my week of Adventure and what a week it was too!!

I've seen you're clips, and I have to say looking from the lineside i can see just how fast we were climbing Whiteball. I knew we were fast but no that fast!!!!

Might catch you on MSN later?

Hi Phil,

Don't worry if you can't take up my request, that is absolutley fine with me. It was a bit of a big ask anyway. I know that it would be tough to get to either wellington or whiteball after the train has raced through at 70plus mph.

I might follow in your footsteps in the future and film the engines on climbs once i've had enough of the engines running at high speed. If you see some of the shots by Karl Jauncey and his team at PSOV, they are some of the most stunning peaces of railway photograph i've ever seen. Do you have any of the PSOV Mainline DVD's?

My parents have allowed me to go on the Royal Duchy on the condition that i don't film any steam outside Bristol until after my exams :-( But i think thats a fair deal...ish, lol!

I'm filiming Bradley Manor on Wednesday so I'll put that up later.

you have msn? my msn is dave-the-janator@hotmail.com (don't ask why, lol)

David.

P.S. I agree, nothing beat the WSR Santa Specials!!!! :-)

Hi Phil,

I've managed to stay up late again. Normal sleeping time is about 2 or 3am for in the holidays, lol! I'm going to try and film Bradley Manor on here last railtour from Bristol to Bridgenorth this Wednesday, and then on Saturday, I'm going on the "Royal Duchy" The King and the Castle to Penzance.

If i may make a special request? If you are going to film this tour, would it be possible if you could get a high speed shot of it going through Taunton, because looking at the times, I don't think it is going to be stopping at Taunton. Do you think that would be possible?

As for my filim, not sure if i said this already, I really interested in seeing steam running at high speed, and the first engine i saw on the mainline was 5029 Nunney Castle racing through Taunton at 78mph. It took my breathe away (along with my hat too!!).

Are you going on any tours at all?

You going GCSEs or AS-Levels?

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your advice. Funny thing is before you wrote to me, what you suggested I do is pretty much what i did in the end!! (if that makes sense). So you are a fellow student as I am? What do you normally look to film, or do you film whatever you can? You have any others planned between now and July at all?

Hi Phil.

Do you use a camcorder, or digital camera for your shots?

Also do you know any good video compression software?
