to Peter, Very good video. My husband had exactly same on feet from borrelia. Misdiagnosed as fungus, then tinea pedis and more. Then sores looked like livoid reticulitis. Suddenly developed some vascular occlusion. Had horrible pain also from neuropathy. It was a 2 way st. taken as a one way. Had vascular surgery. Horrible nightmare. Plus he was in a beta blocker IV study which he never should have been in.He suffered unbelievably 4 mos. never came home - died.
I myself had atrophy blanche lower legs with later changes of aca plus a form of vasculitis. I live in US. I'm glad you posted those photos as he had so many of them similar. Esp the first one....

Excellent overview! I am an American who was infected in Europe (Slovakia) where Borrelia is epidemic. I have neuroborreliosis, I have 2 bacteria, both garinii and afzelli, and as you noted these bacteria are common to Europe. I have been infected for almost 5 yrs now. I was undiagnosed and not treated for 6 months. I have a myriad of illnesses and my immune system is shutting down. I believe the majority of those who have chronic lyme, if tested, will find they have immune problems caused by lyme. There is no real answer for us, we just have to do the best we can with what we have.
