Another demo for comic to cartoon War Within series based on the Dreamwave comic book series.

Here's a nice little scene between Prime and Prowl as they discuss Prime's controversial decision to abandon Cybertron... however... they are rather rudely interrupted.

Remember, this is still in the early stages--sound f/x will change, music will be added, etc.

Exactly one year ago, I put up my first demo of a project involving the creation of a cartoon out of comic book stills.

I had little experience with such a project, and as such, it was a simple thing. But it caught a few folks attention, pointers were given, and eventually I was able to obtain programs that would help me complete the project.

Episode 1 of that project was released in January. But, I have gotten requests for an update on episode 2.

So, what more fitting day to release a demo then on the one year anniversary of the project.

The clip here is of course unfinished, without voices / mouth flaps, but hopefully you'll find it enjoyable all the same.

Here are the results of the auditions I was sent for the new characters appearing in the next episode of my Transformers War Within project. Now, I could have just put up a cast list online... but I think its more fun this way.

Note that the pictures you see here are not from the War Within and will not be used. Also, these are just audition versions--some of the lines will be tweaked before they are used in the final cut of episode 2.

Comments are appreciated, but be nice! Remember, these are just the auditions, not the final products.

For those that auditioned, but did not get a part this go around, you still will have a chance to be included. I've got a crowd of cheering Decepticons (seen here) that need voicing :-)

I'll keep this uploaded for about a month and then remove it, so make sure to save it if you want it. :-p

The wait is over! The first episode of Transformers: The War Within is now complete. As I cannot go over 10 min on youtube, the episode had to be split into two parts; here is part 1.

This is adapted from the Dreamwave comic book of the same name. Many people volunteered their free time to work on this and it is offered free of charge here, with higher quality versions also available for free download from tfcog.com

Transformers War Within Animated Commercial: Since the animation is now complete on this project and I'm just waiting on my sound f/x guy to put the finishing touches on the audio portion, I thought I'd put this up as a treat to those who have been following it.

This was my fourth animation demo for the War Within created to show that a transformation sequence could be done effectively. As you can see, at this point, voices had not yet been added, but the animation is pretty close to the final version in the cartoon.
