I tuned up this time. I am in an open D tunning and playing sort of my signature tune.

Pete Haycock was a terrific opener for ZZ Top in Germany recently (June 2009). A couple of brief clips of some nice guitar pyrotechnics from that ZZ Top show with Pete Haycock and Siggi Schwarz, can be found here: http://video.web.de/watch/6548458 and http://video.web.de/watch/6553067
We're hoping to bring Pete and his band to the U.S. for a major tour soon!

It is cool that you helped film the unfinished Gone in 60 Seconds 2. Have you ever thought about making a video talking about what it was like to film? It is hard to find "behind the scenes" information for these movies since the director Halick died. I just made a car chase tribute video with the Slicer in it, by the way.

Here's another taste of some beautiful slide guitar from this same artist, Pete Haycock, who performed it Live here with Hans Zimmer and orchestra, as well as for the film soundtrack to "Thelma & Louise". I'm sure you'll recognize it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAgQXy8q8Ls

Many people have commented on how much they enjoy the music featured in the Hollister clip. The tune is titled "Dominator" and is composed and performed by guitar great Pete Haycock (ex-Climax Blues Band). He is back on the road after many years of studio work, and his new band is called Pete Haycock's True Blues (featuring Glen Turner, another great player). You can find out about the Hollister Rally soundtrack CD ("Bikers Dozen") as well as the new Live CD by Pete Haycock's True Blues by visiting his website at Pete Haycock (dot com) or RMI Sound (dot com).
