The best bands you've never heard of in your life... yet.
About Me:

I love finding great bands and musicians that almost no-one knows about yet and filming their shows.

Anybody out there who likes what they're doing, please contact the bands and let them know! I always post web and email info when I have it... and tell your friends. That's the way these guys are going to feel the love, and pick up the momentum to get a record deal and carry on with the great work they're doing...

Email me: paulmurff@yahoo.co.uk if you know anyone who's this good and might like me to shoot their show the next time they're in London.

I'm very discreet, too. One camera, no lights...

Dream gigs to shoot? Well, believe it or not I already got to shoot a secret London show by Was (Not Was) - THE most under-appreciated band I've seen in 30 years of going to shows.

I'd love to do a series of 'Solo Masters', too, starting with Richie Havens, John Hamond, Jonathan Richman, Keb Mo, Jimmy Webb and Nils Lofgren.

Of course I'd love to shoot Bruce Springsteen, but I like what he's been doing with Danny Clinch recently, and I think the video he shot for 'Brilliant Disguise', (with a live vocal over one long tracking shot that takes the whole song to close right in on his face) would have to be the best video anyone ever made...

Love my clips or hate 'em, please let me know...

Thanks to Marah for getting the whole thing rolling: that's only one of the things I owe those boys...

One of the highlights from the DSBs' brand new album, Sao Paulo, hear it here for the first time before the US release of Sao Paulo in early 2010
