Paregerto is an independent rock group that formed early 2007. Starting under the name "Taken" (which, ironically enough, was taken... so much for our super-pun-able band name) we began as a four-person group, striving to perform at least once before the year was out. We played our first gig in a high school, and performed three original songs (TELC, SCARS (acoustic), and What I've Become). We also covered the song "Blood to Bleed" by the punk-alternative band Rise Against.

Rob (Lead guitar/backing vocals)
Sean (Rhythm guitar)
Cory (Bass/backing vocals)
Mel (Drums/backing vocals)

We've now played a few shows and are getting our voice out there, bringing a whole different world of music to the table.

Paregerto is wide-spread in their influences. None of the band members share group influences, and some even disagree with or despise the musical taste of another member. This has proved to be both a blessing and a curse.

Despite our wide tastes in music, we've managed to put together a solid sound that makes us solid and unique in most ways.
