As can be seen on my channel, I am experimenting with a variety of materials: video, photographs, titling and captions, animation. It took me a long time to produce my first composite soundtrack, although I made lots of plans. It is a relief to me that I now have several short movies with created soundtracks.
My achievement last year was the completion of a project to make ten short movies about each of the Student Services at the University of Sunderland (an early version of one can be seen here). These movies were screened for a week for student induction. I am keen to produce a short movie about counselling.
As well as the animation test pieces here, I have made a short stop-motion animation that tells a simple story. Once I have edited it and added a soundtrack, I shall upload it here.
I am currently editing previously-shot video and photographic material in order to teach myself movie-editing.
I have made three Video Nation short movies with BBC Tyne.
