Right now a staggering one billion people are living without clean water. In the province of KwaZula-Natal in South Africa, women can walk up to 12 hours a day only to find dirty, contaminated water that can make their families very sick.

Oxfam Australia is working around the world to provide safe access to clean water. By providing easy methods of water collection and storage, and educating families about hygiene practices, we are helping people stay healthy and safe so that they can work their way out of poverty.
