The wings always stay where they are. The nacelles rotate in a conversion from Helicopter to airplane mode. While on the deck of a ship, the blades will fold and the wing will rotate 90 degrees so that the aircraft takes up less room on the ship.

hey was just interested, can the Osprey land and take off vertically or do the wings always have to be at a tilt to allow stability?
