UPDATE: Despite the many people who love the old animated music videos I'd posted (including the son of the man who created them), I've had to take those videos down, because some ******* lawyer for a ******* music company filed a copyright complaint with YouTube, over the song used in one of them. So, once again, the big corporations who don't care about anything but money have prevented those who genuinely love a piece of our pop-culture history from being able to enjoy it.

Thanks so much for the great videos you've posted. Particularly love the 1985 Heinz commercial with the juke box. It was my fave back then and it instantly brought back a ton of wonderful memories of when i was 9! thank a million.

The CBC promos were great. Nice to see that our public broadcaster used to show a larger variety of shows for a wider audience and actually promoted them.

Hi,

I wanted to thank you for posting the 1983 Budweiser Pirates of Penzance ad.

I've been searching for it since I found out that old commercials could be found on sites like this.

It's an awesome commercial that used to run during Saturday Night Live back when it was funny. Great minor key take on the "this bud's for you" theme song ... and the girl in the ad is great too.

This ad's been on my mind for 25 years.
