Are you a leader of the future?
THE COMPETITION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!
You now have until 1st November to upload your video!

There's no such thing as the default delegate - but you'll be involved in discussions with 1,499 others, so if you possess the following qualities, it should help:

We need you to:

• Be born after 1984 (We're afraid this one isn't really open to interpretation)
• Show leadership potential and feel comfortable making your opinions known
• Have a history of volunteering or extra-curricular activities in one or more of the following: business, charity, education, media, politics, healthcare, agriculture, technology or religious activities
• Show you understand the challenges of today's environment
• Show a real interest in the issues covered at the summit
• Be passionately committed to making a difference to future generations
• Be happy to represent your country and your generation
We want your video to demonstrate that you meet all of the above criteria, and that you can encourage and inspire others of your generation to take positive action for change.

We are looking for ideas that demand to be heard and the passion and commitment necessary to make change a reality. It's your world and your future. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to change it for the better.

Videos will be voted on by the YouTube community to determine the 100 best submissions. From these our panel of judges will then select the winning 20 videos. Whether you're from Australia or Zimbabwe, China or Kiribati; if chosen you will receive a fully-funded place at the One Young World summit in London on February 8-10 2010.

If your submission makes the top 100, you will get the opportunity to attend if you can raise the sponsorship to cover your travel and accommodation. The One Young World summit is free to all delegates.

Entries must be submitted by 1st November 2009. Remember, uploading earlier gives your voice more time to be heard!
