"Nine years of the festival represents nine years of reflection, nine years of growing self-confidence within Czech civil society. If young people continue to show an interest in and commitment to the problems, poverty and conflicts of today's world, then we can all hope that the world of tomorrow will always be just that bit better than the world of today."
Tenth One World festival

The jubilee tenth One World festival will be held in Prague from 5 to 13 March 2008 and it will also take place in a further 28 towns and cities throughout the Czech Republic during the month of March and April.

In all these towns and cities, regional "echoes" of the One World festival are taking place under the auspices of district commissioners and mayors as well as in cooperation with local NGOs.
