Step back in time to the 1991 Cavalcade Of Chryslers at Great Lakes Drag-A-Way. This video shows why dragstrips now hold up the cars in the burnout box until the cars on the starting line have launched and are on their way down the track. Watch the '70 Cuda do it's burnout. The Cuda then goes on up to the line to stage. The Plymouth Arrow, which is the next car in the burnout box, begins his burnout and the throttle sticks. He does a great job steering the Arrow around the Cuda but then loses control and rolls the Arrow. The Arrow driver was not injured but the car was a little worse for the wear. The Arrow driver's misfortune got him a free copy of the event video! (less info)
