This 'Making of' video shows the skilled process' in creating the Torso section of the Batsuit for the movie Batman Begins.
The Torso Mould is a one-piece wrap-around moulding leaving the suit Seamless. It has a touchdown area under each arm and down the spine, A seperate spine covered this area, and the flashing under the arms were removed as the suit was trimmed and applied to a Neoprene bodysuit. over 35 final Batsuits were produced for this movie, and the suits were re-used on the sequel.

Seen here for the first time is the R&D and Construction of the Nomex Survival Suit for the movie Batman Begins (2003/4)
Brian Best Supervised the R&D design & build of the suit., described in the script as "A BODYSUIT clear silicone over jointed armour". The suit were completed by his small department of extremely talented Model makers & Mould Designers at Shepperton Studios, England. In the end four versions of the Batsuit were produced, and many duplicates.
1: The Nomex Survival Suit [x 2] 2: The Black Nomex suit (with no Bat-logo) [x 8] 3: The Batsuit (The modified Nomex Suit now Black with Bat-logo) [x 35] 4: The Batsuit (As above, Fire retardant version of the suit) [x 3]
