Don't be stupid krakadile.This cell has sintered plates. There is no cadmium oxide dust to inhale and I would doubt if any cadmium could be absorbed through the skin from touching these plates with bare hands. Only if the cell was burnt at an extremely high temperature would you get cadmium fumes...
