Since my videos basically explore the theism theme, I'm going to briefly discuss my motivations behind them. I am not against any religion.

I don't claim that there is no God or that it didn't create the Universe. If there is a God, I'm inclined to think that no religion has really grasped it with much accuracy, but I can respect their attempts. What I don't like are the attitudes I often see in religious people; namely, that their personal beliefs are actually infallible and perfect expressions of ultimate truth, and who openly condemn everyone who believes differently.

I find myself focused on VenomFangX, because he, and his ministry, are the embodiment of the kinds of attitudes I find offensive. Additionally, hundreds, if not thousands, of his viewers seem to think he is a legitimate messenger of God. He uses shoddy logic and science, that would appear solid to his viewers, who don't appear very educated. Even worse, he uses moral arguments to explain why people believe differently. People who believe evolutionary theory do so because they love wickedness and don't want to be accountable for their actions? Really? Islam is Satan's religion. Jews deserved the Holocaust for not accepting Christ. Most of his videos are geared toward fostering distrust, disgust, even hatred, against all non-Christians. And thousands of people are eating it up without question.

I've had long, private exchanges with some of his followers, wherein I tried to emphasize the virtues of tolerance and forgiveness, the central message of Christ, but I've basically been told that their condemnation is justified, because they know they're right, and I'll go to Hell for thinking otherwise. Does the world really need this right now?
