Let's just put it this way, you listen to your music, I'll listen to mine, and everyone will be happy. Listening to a certain type of music does not make you cool or uncool, but thinking that it does makes you the latter, in addition to being annoying and just downright pathetic :D

- Musical talent is not in the eye of the beholder, it is something that should be universally recognized regardless of whether or not you like the band or musician's music.

-Changing music style is not the same thing as selling out; selling out is changing music style to get radio play and make more money.
COB - not sellouts
Dimmu Borgir - not sellouts
Cradle of Filth - IDC, I hate Dani's voice anyway
Metallica - only St. Anger was a sellout album
In Flames - undecided

-Metalcore and Deathcore are not poser genres, but do tend to spawn many poser fans

Lamb of God - not metalcore
Shadows Fall - Only Threads of life is metalcore, and I still consider it METALcore, meaning metal is definitely the more prominent style
Mastodon - not metalcore, um, not even close
Chimaira - not metalcore
Arch Enemy - not metalcore (yes I've actually seen this), again, they aren't even close
Black Dahlia Murder - not metal/deathcore
In Flames - metalcore (since reroute to remain), and my favorite metalcore band
Divine Heresy - not metalcore

Some thoughts:

- Metalheads, with a few exceptions, are THE most hypocritical people I have yet to encounter in my lifetime. Want a little proof? Watch "Why I Hate Judas Priest" by youtube user daglaton and look through all the comments. That is just one place, but it can be found on almost every metal video on youtube.

- Stop arguing about what genre Wintersun is! As far as I'm concerned, any type of metal you say is somewhat applicable to their sound and not total lunacy.

- Whoever compares Opeth to Agalloch is obviously on the verge of going deaf.

- Fanboyism is one of the most retarded and annoying traits you can display on youtube, unless it's for laughs. (And you all know what kind of fanboysim I'm talking about here)

-Guitar Hero needs to grow some balls and release the "Pure Fucking Metal" edition!! Screw all the gay crap they throw on there!!!

- calling a band metalcore is not an insult, I really don't see how anyone could think it is.

- I listen to the best music on the face of this planet and the rest of the universe, if you disagree, then obviously you aren't me are you?
