Founded in 1953, the Navajo Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, Arizona (Tsé Nitsaa Deezʼáhí) located in the heart of the Navajo Nation (Diné Bikéyah).
The mission is run by a husband and wife team.
Rev. Dr. Lynn Hubbard is the executive director.
Rev. Deborah Hubbard is pastor of the Lutheran Mission House of Prayer.
She is also a Presbyterian pastor.

Rev. Dr. Lynn Hubbard is the executive director of the Navajo Lutheran Mission.
Previously, he was the pastor at Eden on the Bay Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Munising, MI.
Rev. Hubbard is the director and co-founder of the Turtle Island Project that was founded in the summer of 2007.
He has close ties with the Lakota Sioux people and has many dear friends on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in Mission, SD including the honorable Tillie Black Bear, executive director of the White Buffalo Calf Woman's Society (WBCWS) Inc.
Dr. Hubbard, who plays guitar, has organized many free fundraising concerts to help the WBCWS as its battles domestic violence in the teen suicide crisis on the Rosebud.
During trips to the Rosebud Reservation, he prepared graduate theological students in cross-cultural ministerial training.

Hubbard was the Associate Dean of Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago. Rev. Hubbard has served a number of churches throughout the Chicago area. He was pastor for two Afro-Caribbean Lutheran congregations on St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Hubbard has extensive experience in both the interfaith and ecumenical communities, and served as the Director of Development for the Parliament of World's Religions.
