Taimane is a 20 year old entertainer who has performed most of her life. Her name "TAIMANE" means "DIAMOND" in the Samoan language. Her nationality is half Samoan and half caucasian.

She began at the age of 10 by playing on the streets of Waikiki to raise money for the poor and was discovered by legendary Don Ho.

At the age of 13 Taimane became a featured performer in THE DON HO SHOW in Waikiki.

Mr. Ho was the perfect mentor for a 13-18 year old child performer. He was gentle, kind, generous, and always supportive but never pushy.

He taught her the meaning of aloha,....gentle love without wanting anything in return.

Don Ho never once tried to get Taimane to sign anything or exploit her in any way, and, instead, told her she had to do well in school to play in his show. He was a special man. We we're all lucky to just know him.
